A two-way zip follows a gentle top curve opening up to substantial space with side gussets to allow for a wider opening. An internal zip closure pouch helps keep your smaller belongings organised whilst a wide sturdy base allows for depth and room. The adjustable strap is fixed into place at the back of the bag and can be worn over the shoulder or across the body with comfort. Leather is a natural, renewable material made from animal hides that have been preserved and softened through a tanning process. Semi-vegetable tanned leather is tanned using natural plant tannins and then chemically finished, giving a soft finish.
We select our leathers based on their individual properties and the intended application. Leather lasts a long time, ages well and is easy to care for and repair. Unlike many synthetic materials, leather develops patina over time and gets better with age.

These leather pieces are made in India by family owned and operated company Ellavana. We began working with Ellavana in 2021, and as a newer operation, we are working together with the team to establish regular auditing processes for both environmental and social practices. To facilitate better understanding and insight into our product manufacturing and responsible sourcing, we have engaged the services of a local representative who can coordinate with the Ellavana team on-ground.
Tan:
These leather pieces are made in India by family owned and operated company Malhotra Leather Exports. The factory was established in 1954 when they began trading and exporting leather and leather products. It is a family run business with many members of the family involved in each aspect of their operation. To facilitate better understanding and insight into our product manufacturing and responsible sourcing, we have engaged the services of a local representative who can coordinate with the Malhotra team on-ground.

Care Instructions
To maintain the beauty of your ELK bag we recommend protective sprays and using a good quality leather conditioner to treat the product, which will increase its longevity. Do not put leather pieces on the ground or rub against abrasive surfaces. Leather is a natural material and will wear with age and use.
